The Refuse Disposal Site is located at 32500 Glendale Avenue. It is located east of Farmington Road, between Schoolcraft and Plymouth Roads, one block north of the railroad overpass. The Refuse Disposal Site only allows Livonia residents to dispose of refuse originating from a Livonia household.
Accepted Items
Accepted items include (yard waste may be disposed of through the winter months):
- Ashes
- Automobile parts
- Carpeting
- Furniture
- Household clutter typically found in attics, basements, and garages
- Small amounts of building materials (up to a wheelbarrow full) including shingles and concrete
- Stumps, logs, brush, roots, vines
- Up to 10 tires, with or without rims, for $5 per tire
Reclamation tanks for motor oil and antifreeze only are available at the site with no charge for disposal.
Items Not Accepted
Items not accepted include:
- Animal waste
- Chemicals
- Fungicides
- Gasoline
- Paint
- Pesticides

Fees
A fee will be collected at the entrance gate:
- Automobiles and station wagons: $3
- Passenger vans (no seats removed): $5
- Pickup trucks, cargo vans or trailers under 8 feet: $16
- Trailer exceeding 8 feet: $16 plus $3 for each foot over 8 feet
