Communication from the Department of Finance, dated May 26, 2021, re: forwarding Retirement System Annual Report – Fiscal Year 2020.

CONSENT AGENDA
1. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE  ORDINANCE: Judy Tenaglia, re: to host a gathering with live music in the back yard of their home located at 15367 Susanna Circle, on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, August 1, 2021.

2. AWARD OF BID: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: for supplying uniforms and related uniform items for a period of three years, from budgeted funds.

3. REQUEST TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND THE LIVONIA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: to allow the City to continue to utilize John Stymelski Veteran's Park and Mies Park until June 30, 2026, with the option to extend the lease for five (5) additional years with John Stymelski Veteran's Park and (10) additional years with Mies Park, on the same terms. (CR 139-00, CR 368-00 and 161-11).

4. REQUEST TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO THE SUBLEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF LIVONIA AND LIVONIA CIVIC ARENAS: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: changes in term for Devon-Aire Ice Arena from five (5) years to five (5), one (1) year agreements and increase in base ice rate for 2021-2022 ice season, with annual increases thereafter. (CR 376-15)

5. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A PAVILION THROUGH THE SOURCEWELL PURCHASING PROGRAM: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: to replace the existing pavilion at Clement Circle Park, from budgeted funds.

6. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Department of Public Works, re: to enable payment to Lakeshore Global Corporation (LGC) for the emergency Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV-4) replacement at 8 Mile Rd and Newburgh Rd, in conjunction with Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) wholesale meter replacement, from the Unexpended Fund Balance.

7. REQUEST TO RENEW LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND THE LIVONIA SAVE OUR YOUTH TASK FORCE: Department of Law, re: for a period of three (3) years beginning August 1, 2021 and expiring of July 31, 2024 (CR 295-18).

9. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Services Rates and Revenues) to provide for changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2021.

10. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Service Rates and Revenues) to provide changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2021.

11. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the sewer disposal and maintenance rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2021.

12. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Section 130 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the special rates for designated uses to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2021.

13. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 28 (Industrial Waste Surcharge) to provide for changes in the industrial waste surcharge rate to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2021.

14. BLOCK PARTY: Margaret Alvarado, Julius Barber Shop, re: to be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at corner of Cavour Street and Five Mile Road to beginning of alley, with rain date of July 25, 2021.

15. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON REFERENCES PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES CONNECTED WITH THE 2020 SIDEWALK PROGRAM, CONTRACT 20-G, SINGLE LOT ASSESSMENTS: Office of the Treasurer, re: same. (CR 50-21 and 36-21)

16. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED, re: Petition 2021-03-01-01 submitted by Fadie Kadaf, requesting to rezone the property at 28200 Seven Mile Road, located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between Inkster Road and Brentwood Avenue in the Southeast ¼ of Section 1, from OS (Office Services) to R-7 (Multiple Family Residential). Public Hearing held on June 2, 2021.

17. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Courtney C. Moore, Owner of The Music Firm, re: to host a grand opening event with live music, food truck and ice cream truck at The Music Firm, located at 16376 Middlebelt on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

18. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Michael Hudzik, re: to host a 50th birthday party with live music at his home located at 32974 Grennada Street on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
