Five Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program (Zoom)

Thursday, February 25, 2021

The Livonia Housing Commission will hold a Public Hearing via ZOOM. The purpose of this public hearing is to obtain the views of citizens concerning housing, homelessness and community development needs of the City, which will be considered for inclusion into the Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan and Five-year Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan, required by federal regulations in order for the City to receive CDBG funds, is used to determine which activities the City will fund with CDBG Grant money over the next five years. Eligible activities must meet one of the three national objectives - 1) benefit low- and moderate-income persons, 2) aid in the prevention or elimination of slums and blight, or 3) meet a particularly urgent community development need.
