Wayne County Road Construction Projects on Merriman and Farmington

Wayne County Road Work

Drivers can expect reduced lanes and slow travel on Merriman Road and Farmington Road this summer while Wayne County works to repair the roads. 

Now through Monday, May 23 (THIS IS AN M-DOT PROJECT)
The eastbound off-ramp from I-96 to Farmington Road is closed. One lane of I-96 east from Wayne to Farmington Roads is also closed for storm drainage work.

Wednesday, May 11
Wayne County is repairing Farmington Road between Five Mile and Seven Mile Roads. Farmington Road will be narrowed down to one lane in each direction during the project.

Thursday, May 12 through Fall 2022
Wayne County is repairing Merriman Road between Schoolcraft and Five Mile Roads. The work is selected slab replacement.

COMING SOON
Farmington Road, south of Plymouth. 

Merriman Road bridge (north of Curtis and south of Seven Mile Road) reconstruction - projected to begin in mid-July. 

Reduced speeds and load restrictions may be posted. Flaggers will be present as needed. Please use caution when traveling through work zones.
