Northbound I-275 Ramps to Eastbound I-96 and Westbound M-14 Closed

Revive 275

Through mid-November, MDOT has closed the northbound I-275 ramps (Exit 29) to both eastbound I-96 and westbound M-14 for bridge work. Traffic will be detoured further north on I-275 to westbound Seven Mile Road (Exit 169A), then southbound I-275 to the exit ramps to eastbound I-96 and westbound M-14. 

Additional Revive275 Project closures and updates.

Lane Closures:

- Westbound M-14 has a left shoulder closure through mid-November
- Southbound I-275 from Northline Road to South Huron Road has one lane open through late October
- Northbound I-275 from Northline Road to Will Carleton Road has one lane open through late October
- Eastbound and westbound M-14 under I-275 has one lane open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until mid-November
- Single lane closures on M-14 remain during off-peak times.
- Northbound I-275 Collector from Schoolcraft Road to M-14 is closed through mid-November
- Northbound and southbound I-275, from Five Mile Road through Northline Road, have two lanes open through late fall

Ongoing ramp closures:

- Westbound Ecorse Road ramp to northbound I-275 is closed through mid-November
- Northbound I-275 ramp to Westbound M-14 is closed through mid-November
- Northbound I-275 ramp to eastbound I-96 is closed through mid-November
- Eastbound US-12/Michigan Avenue ramp to northbound I-275 is closed through mid-November
- Eastbound M-14 ramp to northbound I-275 is closed through mid-November

Local Roads

- Eastbound Ford Road under I-275 has two lanes open daily, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 27
- Westbound Ford Road under I-275 has one lane open daily, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 27
- Eastbound and westbound Six Mile Road over I-275 has one lane open through late October
- Westbound M-14 has a left shoulder closure through mid-November
- Eastbound and westbound Schoolcraft Road under I-275 has one lane open through late November

This work is part of the Revive275 project. Based on economic modeling, this $270 million investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 3,429 jobs.
