Refunds and Memberships

The rapidly changing COVID-19 situation has temporarily halted the high-quality programs and services the Parks & Recreation Department provides to the community. In order to comply with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive orders, we had to cancel classes, programs and events and shut the doors to the Kirksey Recreation Center in order to keep the community safe. For the limited staff still working in the Recreation Center, it is not the same without our members and guests. We value our members and class participants. Be assured when it is time to reopen, we will be ready and happy to welcome you back to our facilities and services.

All Kirksey Recreation Center memberships will be extended for the duration of the closure. Those who paid in full for the year will have their expiration date extended. Those paying via EFT on a monthly basis will have their payments stopped. We acknowledge the March payments have been drafted and will extend expiration dates and the next payment to account for the length of the closure.

Participants registered for programming that is scheduled to take place between March 13 and April 13 will receive a full or partial credit, where appropriate, upon conclusion of the program.

Due to the high volume of registrations, please allow 7-10 business days from the conclusion of your program for your credit to be processed to your account.

Thank you for your patience as we handle all of these account updates. If you have questions regarding your account, please email parks@ci.livonia.mi.us or call (734) 466-2900 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
