Healthy Livonia Turkey Trot

Are you looking for ways to support your community? Sign up for the Healthy Livonia Turkey Trot this year. The 2020 event will be a Virtual Turkey Trot. Complete your 3.2-mile walk or run on your own. Register before Monday, Oct. 26, and receive the official Turkey Trot T-Shirt for this year’s event. Register online or at the Parks and Recreation desk for $15. Participants that register after Oct. 26 will not receive a Turkey Trot T-Shirt.
We will be collecting nonperishable food items for the Livonia Goodfellows between Nov. 1-30. Drop off your nonperishable food items at the Kirksey Recreation Center.

Shadows From the Past Halloween Walk

Greenmead’s historic buildings serve as the backdrop for this family-friendly Halloween event! Participants will check-in at the Hinbern Gift Shop at their designated time session and will be given a map to guide their walking tour. Attendees will walk to our decorated historic homes while maintaining social distancing and receive their treats. In an effort to keep everyone safe, masks are required. Costumes and flashlights are encouraged!

Tickets are $5 per child and must be pre-purchased before the event. Sessions run every 15 minutes from 5-7:30 p.m. Tickets available online through Parks & Recreation and at the Greenmead Office with cash, check, or money order.
