Livonia's 31st Annual Garden Walk

The Friends of Greenmead will hold its 31st Annual Garden Walk on Saturday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Five privately-owned gardens will be open for touring as well as the Simmons-Hill House Gardens.

Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 day of the event. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Greenmead Office, 20501 Newburgh Road, and the Robert and Janet Bennett Civic Center Library, 32777 Five Mile Road. Tickets also available online.

Hinbern Gift Shop

Sunday Tour

Join us for a tour of the village buildings on Sunday, June 27, from 1-4 p.m. Admission is by donation at the Hinbern Gift Shop. Docents will be in each building to give you a tour and answer any questions. 

Happily Ever After Exhibit

Step back into time and experience the common threads that weave our lives together as we explore wedding fashion history through our display of generational gowns. Wedding attire from the late 1800s to present day will be on exhibit on Thursday, July 15, and Friday, July 16, from 2-6 p.m. at the Alexander Blue House. Register in advance online for $5 per person. Walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.

Storytime Saturday 

Come and listen to a story on Saturday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. in the Newburg Schoolhouse! This storytime is for ages 3-6 and will include a craft. Registration is required.
