Did you know...

  • Livonia has four historic cemeteries with headstones dating back to the 1820s.

  • Within those four cemeteries, there are more than 3,000 headstones.

  • Veterans from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War are buried in our historic cemeteries.

  • Livonia veterans from the Revolutionary War are all buried in the Newburg Cemetery, which was awarded a State Historical Marker in 1964.
