The year 2019 marked the centennial of Henry Ford’s wildly popular antisemitic newspaper, "The Dearborn Independent"-the second-most widely read paper in the United States. Despite its international reach and considerable backing, the Jewish community ultimately prevailed against it, exerting back-channel, public, economic, and legal pressure to shut down the paper in 1927. And yet, even in 2021, the "Independent" lives on.
