"When Amelia Came to Michigan"

Join Al and Dave Eicher at the Alexander Blue House on Monday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. for their presentation on Amelia Earhart’s adventures in Michigan. Amelia visited Michigan more than 25 times, promoting the aviation industry and opportunities for women in this field. This is a free event. 

Masks are required at this event, regardless of vaccination status.

Drive the Cold Winter Away Parlor Games

Join us on Saturday, Jan. 29, for a fun afternoon of 1800s parlor games at the Alexander Blue House at Greenmead. From noon-2p.m., guests will learn about a variety of games, their rules, and then we'll play! Hot chocolate, coffee, and treats will be provided. This is a great activity for families or small groups of friends to learn new games to play at home.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at our valentine-themed tea on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 3-5 p.m. at the Alexander Blue House. Attendees will enjoy a variety of delicious sandwiches, scones, and dessert and will have a chance to take home a prize during our fun game of Valentine's Day BINGO!  Pre-registration required, $35 per resident, $40 per non-resident.
