Parks and Recreation Master Plan Seeking Public Review and Feedback

Thanks to a lot of public input over the past year, we now have a draft of our 2022-26 Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan! Our 30-day public review period is now open Jan. 17-Feb. 16, so visit LivoniaParks.org to view a draft of the plan.

If you’d like to check out a hard copy, please stop by the Kirksey Recreation Center front desk, Civic Park Senior Center check-in desk or Bennett Civic Center Library adult reference desk during regular business hours to review the plan. Any feedback can be passed along to parks@livonia.gov.

Learn Step-by-Step Landscape Painting the Way Bob Ross Taught

Learn to paint some "happy little trees" with step-by-step guidance during Joy of Painting the Bob Ross Way. Join us from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 30, to paint a snowy sunrise along the river or 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, to paint a woodland river bend with a snow-capped mountain backdrop. 100 Days to Health Offering Up Series of Classes, Seminars Starting Feb. 27

Healthy Livonia’s 100 Days to Health are coming back with a 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, kickoff to help make sure everyone stays on track with any New Years' resolutions. Registration is now open for this annual favorite that will provide hundreds of fun classes, educational seminars and events through June 5, as well as the optional weight loss challenge for your chance to win a variety of prizes.
