14. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND APPROVE THE 2022 CONCRETE ROAD REPAIR PROGRAM BY EXTENDING CONTRACT 20-C UNIT PRICES WITH HARD ROCK CONCRETE:  Engineering Division, re:  for Contract 22-C in the amount of $4,997,997.21 for one year. (CR 103-20)

15. REQUEST TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH ANDERSON, ECKSTEIN AND WESTRICK, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2022 CONCRETE ROAD PROGRAM (CONTRACT 22-C):  Engineering Division, re:  for same. (CR 336-21)

16. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND APPROVE THE 2022 CONCRETE ROAD MAINTENANCE/SELECTIVE SLAB PROGRAM BY EXTENDING CONTRACT 21-J UNIT PRICES WITH GREAT LAKES CONTRACTING SOLUTIONS, LLC:  Engineering Division, re: for Contract 22-J in the amount of $837,903.62 for one year. 17. REQUEST TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH ANDERSON, ECKSTEIN AND WESTRIK, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2022 CONCRETE ROAD MAINTENANCE/SELECTIVE SLAB PROGRAM (CONTRACT 22-J):  Engineering Division, re: for same. (CR 336-21)


18. REQUEST TO APPROVE THE 2022–2027 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM: Planning Commission, re: submitted pursuant to State law, to be used as a guide to funding priority capital projects.

19. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA VISION 21 ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2021-11-01-08 submitted by Schoolcraft College, to rezone the property at 17950 College Parkway (Formerly Unit 15 of College Park Condominium), located on the east side of Haggerty Road between Six Mile and Seven Mile Roads in the Southwest ¼ of Section 7, from C-1, Local Business to P-L, Public Lands.

Public Hearing held on February 23, 2022.


20. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA VISION 21 ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2021-11-01-09 submitted by Schoolcraft College, to rezone the property at 17420 College Parkway (Unit 11 of College Park Condominium), located on the east side of Haggerty Road between Six Mile and Seven Mile Roads in the Southwest ¼ of Section 7, from C-4, High Rise Commercial to P-L, Public Lands.

Public Hearing held on February 23, 2022.


21. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LIVONIA VISION 21 ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED: Department of Law. re: Petition 2021-11-01-10 submitted by Schoolcraft College, to rezone the property at 13001 Merriman Road, located on the west side of Merriman Road between Glendale Avenue and Schoolcraft Road in the Northeast ¼ of Section 27, from M-2, General Manufacturing to P-L, Public Lands.

Public Hearing held on February 23, 2022.


22. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: to amend Section 020, Title 10, Chapter 48 (Right of Way and Private Parking), to conform with the recent amendments to the traffic ordinances.

First Reading given by Councilmember Kathleen McIntyre on Monday, February 28, 2022.


23. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Offices of the Mayor and Government Affairs, re: lobbying services to secure Wayne County ARPA dollars for Project Catalyst: Launching Livonia Vision 21, from budgeted funds.


24. REZONING PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2021-12-01-11 submitted by Maple Real Estate Group, L.L.C., to rezone the east fifty-eight feet (58’) of 9120 Middlebelt Road, located on the east side of Middlebelt Road between Joy Road and West Chicago Avenue in the Southwest ¼ of Section 36, from RUF (Rural Urban Farm) to C-1 (Local Business).

NEW BUSINESS

25. REQUEST APPROVAL TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE MICHIGAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (MEDC): Office of Government Affairs and the Engineering Division, re: Bell Creek streambank stabilization, a Greenmead regional detention pond, and Denmar Drain channel improvements.
