Cardboard Boat Race Returns

Join us 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Botsford Pool for our 17th Annual Cardboard Boat Race. Participants will build boats at home using only cardboard and duct tape. An approved materials list will be supplied at time of registration.

Awards for Most Creative Design and Fastest Boat will be given. No more than four people per boat. Life jacket will be required to be worn by those racing.

Youth Baseball Registration Deadline Looms Aug. 3 for Fall Leagues

Teams are now forming for the fall T-Ball and Coach Pitch Leagues. Don't miss your chance to get some fall ball in.

Presented by Growth Works, the leagues will run with start times 6 p.m. or later weekdays Aug. 23-Oct. 7. Ages 5-6 will hit the ball off a tee Mondays/Wednesdays and ages 7-8 will have a coach pitch to them Tuesdays/Thursdays. Check out all the details and register by Aug. 3 to ensure your spot.

Crowds shop the various vendors at Greenmead's Flea Market

Fall Flea Market Vendor Registration Now Open

The Fall Flea Market is coming to Greenmead Historical Park 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

Bring your wagon or cart to shop from more than 160 vendors offering a wide variety of items for sale. No dogs permitted at the event. $3 adult admission paid at the gate; free for ages 11 and younger.
