Anne Pritchard Fine Arts Scholarship Fundraiser

Young Livonia artists need your support! The Anne Pritchard Fine Arts Scholarship is holding a fundraiser event on Friday, May 31 at 6 p.m. This event will be held at One Under Craft Beers and Eats, and each guest will receive free appetizers and two drink tickets. Why, Yes, Chemistry IS Rocket Science!

We're looking for budding astronauts! During this event on Saturday, June 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees will learn the chemistry of model rocketry and build their very own model rocket! There will be chemistry demonstrations, and registrants will launch their model rockets as a grand finale. Participants must be 9 and older, and only a limited number of spots are available. Rocket building begins at 10 a.m. in Stymelski Veteran’s Park, and launches begin at 12:30 p.m. in Ford Field Park. The registration fee is $5. You can register today through our online catalog.

Livonia Symphony Orchestra Golf Outing

Calling all golf and music lovers! The Livonia Symphony Orchestra is holding the 32nd Annual Bob Bennett Memorial Chip-in for the Arts Golf Outing 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 7. The outing will be held at Whispering Willows Golf Course, and the LSO is still looking for more sponsors! To learn more or support local music, visit the LSO website.

Construction begins July 2024 with exterior site work, closing the East FitHub (Strength Hub) in September 2024 and closing the Main Gyms in July 2025 once the new West Gym is complete. The full project is expected to be completed in December 2025.
