Earth Explorers

Join us in exploring our world! From 6-7 p.m. on Oct. 3, Oct. 15, and Nov. 3, we invite your family to learn about our world and environment! During these events at Greenmead Historical Park, participants will get to learn in hands-on, engaging, STEAM-oriented activities.

Our first Earth Explorers event will be Thursday, Oct. 3, titled Critter Clues! This event will show how animals live and teach children some signs they leave behind. The second program will be Tuesday, Oct. 15, and your kids will have a chance to learn about water pollution! Your family will learn about our water world and how we affect it. This session will be presented by Wayne County 4H. Finally, on Sunday, Nov. 3, kids will get to learn about recycling! Reducing and reusing is great, but kids will have a chance to learn all about the recycling world.

If you have a budding scientist ages 8-12, this event is perfect for them. Registration is $5 through our online catalog and registration portal.

Learning about the earth has never been more fun!
