Dining With Yesterday's 'Wings of Change: The Women Airforce Service Pilots'

The Women Airforce Service Pilots (W.A.S.P.s) of WWII ferried aircraft for the U.S. military, learned to fly “the army way,” and proved that women were every bit as capable as men to fly! Join us 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Greenmead's Alexander Blue House for a fascinating look in the history of the W.A.S.P.s during Women’s History Month. A three-course meal inspired by our topic is included. Advance registration is required for $35/resident, $40/non-resident.

Livonia Senior Wellness Center being constructed

#RecreatingTheRec

As the exterior walls for the both new Livonia Senior Wellness Center and new West Gym stand tall, construction crews are working on some interior elements while fending off the cold weather. Interior renderings are available at LivoniaBuilt.org.

The Main Gyms will close in 2025 once the new West Gym is complete. The full project is expected to be completed in December 2025. You can visit LivoniaBuilt.org to see the specific timeline for each phase. For more details, check out our Frequently Asked Questions.

Stay up to date on construction at the Kirksey Recreation Center and Livonia Senior Wellness Center at LivoniaBuilt.org. You've already subscribed to this e-newsletter, so make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and bookmark the website for all the latest details.
