1. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Erin Curd, Old Rosedale Gardens Homeowners Association, re: in order to host a 100th birthday party with live music in Mies Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Approving)


2.  BLOCK PARTY AND STREET BARRICADE: Lauren Feigel, re: to be held Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. along the Five Mile Service Road from 36996 to 36916 Five Mile Road. (Approving)


3.  BLOCK PARTY: Collin Buerkle, re: to be held Friday, July 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Roycroft Street, between Woodring and Loveland Streets. (Approving)

5. REQUEST FOR WAIVER USE EXTENSION TO NEW USER: Ryan Kattoo, Principal, Keystone Commercial Real Estate, representative of Parlor Donuts, re: Petition 2022-07-02-15 submitted by Phamily Pharmacy, requesting to add a drive-up window to the east end of the retail shopping center at 29195 through 29215 Plymouth Road, located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Garden Avenue and Middlebelt Road in the Northwest ¼ of Section 36. 6. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURE: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: for annual association dues from Western Wayne County Fire Department Mutual Aid Association, for an amount not to exceed $27,384 annually for a period of five (5) years, from budgeted funds. (Approving)


7. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION OF A ONE-YEAR AGREEMENT EXTENSION FOR PRISONER HOUSING WITH THE CALHOUN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE: Division of Police, re: for the existing transportation commitment and care for Livonia prisoners, including basic medical, dental and access to social workers, from budgeted funds. (Approving)


8. REAPPOINTMENT OF TIM KLISZ TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: Brandon McCullough, Council President, re: for a three-year term which will expire on July 12, 2028. (Approving)

9. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Services Rates and Revenues) to provide for changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2025.

First reading given by Councilmember Lynda L. Scheel on June 2, 2025.


10. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Service Rates and Revenues) to provide changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2025. 

First reading given by Councilmember Rob Donovic on June 2, 2025.


11. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 28 (Industrial Waste Surcharge) to provide for changes in the industrial waste surcharge rate to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2025. 

First reading given by Councilmember Laura M. Toy on June 2, 2025.


12. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the sewer disposal and maintenance rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2025. 

First reading given by Council Vice President Martha Ptashnik on June 2, 2025.


13. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended: Department of Law, re: Section 130 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the special rates for designated uses to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2025. 

First reading given by Councilmember Carrie Budzinski on June 2, 2025.


14. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON REFERENCED PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES CONNECTED WITH THE 2024 SIDEWALK PROGRAM, CONTRACT 24-G, SINGLE LOT ASSESSMENTS: Office of the Treasurer, re: same. (CR 32-25)


15.  REQUEST TO RELEASE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND: Housing Commission, re: for acquiring, constructing, furnishing and equipping approximately 100 housing units for low- and moderate-income senior citizens, including necessary right of ways, site improvements and ancillary facilities. (CR 9-25)


16.  APPOINTMENT OF LINDSEY HAKALA TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: Carrie Budzinski, Councilmember, re: for a three-year term which will expire on July 12, 2028.
