1. BLOCK PARTY: Karen Werden, re: to be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Flamingo Blvd. between St. Martins and Bretton Streets, with a rain date of Sunday, August 31, 2025.
2. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY'S NOISE ORDINANCE: Nick Cornell, General Manager, Supernatural Spirits and Brewing LLC, re: to host the Wildwood Sourfest event on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with live music on the property located at 36685 Plymouth Road.
3. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Jacob Ermete, re: to host a concert event on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with live music and DJs on property located at 9820 Levan Road.
4. REQUEST TO APPROVE AND RECOGNIZE THE CLARENCEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING PARADE, PARADE ROUTE, THE CLOSING OF CERTAIN CITY STREETS AND REQUEST TO DESIGNATE AND AUTHORIZE SENIOR POLICE OFFICER MICHAEL ARAKELIAN TO SIGN THE WAYNE COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION PERMIT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY TO CLOSE A PORTION OF MIDDLEBELT ROAD, WITH THE CITY TO ASSUME LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CLAIMS WHICH MAY ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE ROAD CLOSURE: Kevin Murphy, Athletic Director, re: to be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
5. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2025-06-02-13 submitted by 3CS Schoolcraft, LLC, requesting waiver use approval to operate an indoor recreational facility, at 37461 Schoolcraft Road, located at the southwest corner of Schoolcraft Road and Newburgh Road, in the northeast ¼ of Section 30.
6. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO WAIVE THE SEALED BID PROCESS AND PURCHASE FROM SOLE SOURCE PROVIDER: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: irrigation system upgrades at Fox Creek, Whispering Willows and Idyl Wyld golf courses, from budgeted funds.
7. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Department of Public Works, re: for the lease and emergency repair of leased Vactor truck, from budgeted funds.
8. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT TO DAN'S EXCAVATING, INC. AND AAA UNDERGROUND & GRADING: Engineering Division, re: for the water main replacement under I-96 west of Hix Road, from budgeted funds.
9. REQUEST TO EXTEND CONTRACT WITH BIDIGARE CONTRACTORS: Engineering Division, re: to include Pickford and Clarita Avenues in the 2024 Westfield Avenue and Harrison Road Water Main Replacement Project, from budgeted funds. (CR 199-24 and 223-25)
10. REQUEST TO APPROVE CABLE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND DIRECTV, LLC: Department of Law, re: for a period of (10) ten years from the date issued.
