 NEW BUSINESS

1. BLOCK PARTY: Malgorzata Simmons, re: to be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Melrose Street between Elsie Street and Jamison Avenue.

2. BLOCK PARTY AND STREET BARRICADING: Danielle Greason, re: to be held Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., on Emerson Court to West Chicago and on Tulipwood from Emerson Court to Harrison Street.

3. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF FLOCK SAFETY CAMERAS AND SOFTWARE PRODUCTS: Division of Police, re: to enhance crime prevention and investigations, from budgeted and grant funds.

4. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE SEALED BID PROCESS AND AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) MARKED POLICE VEHICLES USING STATE OF MICHIGAN COOPERATIVE BID PRICING: Division of Police, re: to be replaced as part of the vehicle replacement program, from budgeted funds.

5. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE: Department of Civil Service, re: in an amount of $5,000, above the not-to-exceed amount of $30,000 to Empco, in order to continue to provide Assessment Center services, for the fiscal year 2024-2025, from budgeted funds.

6. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE: Department of Civil Service, re: in a not-to-exceed amount of $35,000, to Empco, for the promotional testing of Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, Senior Fire Captain, and additional testing, for the fiscal year 2025-2026, from budgeted funds.

7. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: for various types of clothing for a two (2) year period, from budgeted funds.

8. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE SEALED BID PROCESS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT: Department of Public Works, Building Maintenance Division, re: for the phase two installation of building maintenance systems, from budgeted funds.
