Friends for the development of Greenmead logo

The Friends for the Development of Greenmead were established in 1978 as a non-profit organization and created to raise funds for the development and restoration of Greenmead Historical Park.

Currently, the Friends of Greenmead host the annual Livonia Garden Walk in June, showcasing spectacular gardens throughout the City of Livonia. They meet four times in the spring to plan this wonderful event.

If you are looking for a new organization to join, consider attending their next meeting 6 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Alexander Blue House at Greenmead.

WE CAN ALWAYS USE MORE FRIENDS!

Livonia's 36th Annual Garden Walk Seeks gardens

Do you or someone you know have a great garden that should be showcased on Livonia's Annual Garden Walk on Saturday, June 27? All types, styles, and sizes of gardens will be considered. Please contact Peggy at (248) 478-5978 for more information. This is a great opportunity to talk to fellow gardeners and share your successes and trials in gardening!
