Join us as we discuss the important pieces of armor you need to protect and fortify your own mental and emotional health so you can live a healthier life.   4. Family Climb Class

    January 18, 2020, 6:00 p.m. @ Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center

    Family Climb Class/Workout – For ages 6 & up. Get the family together for a fun time learning about basic wall safety, belay techniques, knot tying and voice commands. This class will only need to be taken once. Upon completion of this class, you and your climbing partner will have access to the climbing wall every Friday, between 6-9 p.m. and access to any Open Climb listed on the 100 Days to Health calendar.

  1. 6th Annual Livonia PTSA Council Chili Cook Off

    January 18, 2020, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. @ Franklin High School

    Make plans to attend the 6th Annual Livonia PTSA Council Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Franklin High School, 31000 Joy Road. It is open to the public and all are welcome to attend for this fun Chili Cook-off. A $5 admission gets you refreshments and unlimited chili samples from all of the entrants, while supplies last. This is an event to get Dads and Designated Superstars a chance to join and support their favorite PTAs, earn money for their favorite schools, and have a great time while doing it! All adult members of their school's PTA are welcome to register!! The first place winner will take home a fantastic prize package: a $500 grant, courtesy of The Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers, for their favorite Livonia Public School, and bragging rights for 365 days!
