    After a two-year hiatus, our all-new St. Rafka Church Summer Festival is back! Our festival is growing to three days and we have added a bingo night (Friday) and and a taco truck to widen our menu and appeal to a larger audience. Our Summer Festival showcases the best of our church community and the beautiful aspects of Middle-Eastern and American culture in a fun atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. Join us August 19th - 21st for bingo night, music, dancing, great food and drinks, children's activities and more!

  2. Livonia Jaycees' 5th annual Murder Mystery Dinner: Best Laid Plans

    Life in the spotlight can be ...MURDER! Join the Livonia Jaycees' for their 5th annual Murder Mystery Dinner! This glamorous night includes either a 3-course chicken dinner, vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free option., an open bar (with a signature themed drink), a DJ/Dancing, a red carpet with Photographer, 50/50 Raffle and of course a professional Murder Mystery Show. Proceeds of this event will benefit The Living and Learning Enrichment Center and The Livonia Jaycees. This event will sell out FAST so get your tickets before they run out. The event begins at 7:00 PM with dinner and the show starting at 7:30 PM. Ages 16 and up are welcome to attend. There is an open bar so IDs will be checked at the door. There is no official dress code however, the theme is a 1920s Hollywood. Think Great Gatsby style glamor. Feel free to dress up in your fanciest flapper dress, bootlegger gear, pinstripe suit, or whatever you like.

    Join us as we learn more about the Michigan women who built the arsenal of democracy. Learn about the work of the Rosies in Michigan, color your own plane glider, and enjoy a snack that kids from the 1940s enjoyed. Pre-registration required, $15 per child. This event is for children ages 6-12.
