Housing Overview

Silver Village is a retirement community of 108 garden-style apartments which serve Livonia's low and moderate income senior citizens. Silver Village is ideally located near the municipal civic center, 49 acres of city parkland, and the YMCA. Silver Village enjoy many accessible social and recreational activities. The centrally located, air-conditioned building has a large meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. Many social activities take place in the Silver Village "people place".

There are 36 one-bedroom apartments (approximately 640 square foot) and 72 two-bedroom apartments (approximately 728 square foot).

Housing requirements include:

• 57 Years of age
• You must be a current Livonia resident or an immediate family member

Income Limitations

Income limitations are as follows:

• $53,437 single person per year (subject to change)
• $61,062 couple per year (subject to change)

Rental Cost

New rental rates are effective as of June 1, 2019 and rates exclude gas and electric:

• One bedroom: $460
• Two bedroom: $515
