Candy-Go-Round

Join us 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, for a free Go-Round of trick-or-treating in the Kirksey Recreation Center South Parking Lot! We provide the treats and you bring the fun! We highly encourage all participants to dress up in costume and bring their Halloween spirit.

This event is best for those ages 2-12. There is no cost, but pre-registration is required for the Candy-Go-Round through our online portal.

This event is paired with Livonia Public Library's Haunted StoryWalk® at Bennett Civic Center Library's west lawn. It's best for those ages 2-10, and a shuttle will bring trick or treaters between the library and The Rec for more candy and Halloween fun! The StoryWalk® event requires no registration.

We’re also looking for local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups to help make this year’s Candy-Go-Round a fun, safe, and family-friendly Halloween event. Participation is free. Local organizations, contact mduby@livonia.gov if you're interested!

Greenmead Village tours

Come visit yesterday this fall and take a tour of the village buildings. Self-paced tours are 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. Begin at Delia's Treasures Gift Shop (located by the stop sign) for your admission pass. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for those ages 5-17. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check only.
Docents will be in each building to share information and answer questions. you can find this event on Facebook.
