Join the Livonia Garden Club for their annual plant sharing at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, in the Special Events Parking Lot at Greenmead. Everyone is welcome to come and share perennials, annual seeds, houseplants and even pots, tags, and yard art. There is no charge. The event is a "plant sharing" and not a "plant exchange." Everyone is encouraged to come and take plants whether or not they have anything to share. The club asks people bringing items to share to pot them (plastic pots, bags, etc.) and label, if possible. Garden Club members will assist with plant identification for people bringing in "unknown" plants from their yards. The plants will be placed on various tables for "sun," "shade," "houseplants," etc. with the assistance of Livonia Garden Club members. There will also be a table for free garden-related items.
