RESIDENTIAL COMPLAINT CALLS WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-ESSENTIAL AT THIS TIME AND LOGGED TO BE REVIEWED AT A FUTURE DATE.
Please be advised that permits will only be accepted by mail or dropbox during this shutdown.

Funds will be required by either cash or check, preferably by check. Checks are to be made out to the “City of Livonia”.
We are only receiving our mail on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is a two week lead time for issuing permits. Please check the Online Property Inquiry link to check if your permit has been issued.
Online property inquiry
To view the status of permits or inspection results you can use the Online Property Inquiry link on our website. The link will take you to the Assessor’s Office page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “I agree, to proceed to the online property inquiry system” link. once in BS&A Online enter the address in the search bar. Click on the address when it appears, then click on the Building Department tab. Scroll down to the Permits tab.
We will be conducting inspections based on availability and type of inspection. Please schedule your required inspection by using the Request an Inspection form.
Video inspections may be requested and performed when possible. You must contact your inspector after scheduling for specific requirements.
