Mission Statement
The mission of the Livonia Housing Commission is to provide adequate housing and community development assistance, and to expand and preserve decent, safe and affordable housing for low and moderate income families. The Commission is further committed to providing quality services to our clients in an effective, efficient and respectful manner.

Community Development Block Grant Program
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is an entitlement program of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, funds are used primarily to benefit low and moderate income households or areas as defined by the United States census.

Family Rental Housing
The Livonia Housing Commission currently operates 15 single family scattered site public housing units and 14 single family scattered site Community Development Block Program flat rent housing units.

In order to educate the homeowner about mortgage foreclosure, the Livonia Housing Commission is providing foreclosure information, phone numbers, and links to online resources that may provide valuable insight into keeping your home.

Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides financial housing assistance to eligible low-income families based upon income.
