Summer 2026 Outdoor Pools

The City of Livonia operates two outdoor pools. These pools offer swim lessons, open swimming, private rentals, and special events. 

Hours and capacities are subject to change based on staffing. Safety is our number one priority, and we continue to make adjustments to provide a safe swimming environment for the public.

We have established open swim safety breaks at Botsford and Clements Circle Pools for Summer 2026. The pool will close between the 50 and top of the hour, each hour to allow staff to clean the facility or have a short break. Patrons will be required to exit the pools, but patrons may stay on deck. 

Pools close 15 minutes before closing time.

Botsford pool

Pool depths range from 2-feet-6 in the shallow end to 9 feet in the deep end.

Reserved for Adult (Ages 18+) Lap Swim and Swim Lessons 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daily Rates Apply. Holiday Hours at Botsford Pool will be open 12:30-5 p.m.

Clements Circle Splash Park

June 5-August 23; Limited hours August 24-September 7

Lap pool depths range from 3-feet-3 in the shallow end to 5 feet in the deep end. Leisure pool depths range from zero entry in the shallow end to 3 feet in the deep end. Holiday Hours at Clements Circle Splash Park will be open 12:30-5 p.m.

Shelden pool

Under Renovation. Once done, will run memorial day to labor day. 

POOL RENTAL

Applications for the 2025 season will be accepted starting May 1. Pools are not available for exclusive use during hours of operation. Botsford and Clements Circle Splash Park will be available for private rentals on Saturdays and Sundays between 6-8 p.m. Shelden is unavailable for rentals. A minimum two-week notice is required on all rental requests.

SUMMER CAMPS

Summer Camps and Day Care Centers will be permitted to visit Botsford Pool for no more than two hours between 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Clements Circle and Shelden are not available. Outdoor Swim Lessons

General Pool Rules

• Eating or drinking in restricted areas only.
• No shoes or street clothing on the pool deck.
• All deck furniture must be placed along the fence at all times.
• Infants must wear a reusable or disposable swim diaper under a lined swimsuit.
• No one swims alone.
• The following items and actions are prohibited:
  • Diving in shallow water
  • Glass (bottles, jars, goggles, face masks, etc.)
  • Hypoxic training - underwater games, holding of breath
  • Inflatable toys or inflatable flotation devices
  • Running/horseplay
