mission
The board has the power to receive requests for advisory opinions from city officials or employees, to receive complaints concerning alleged unethical conduct by a city official or employee, and to receive and retain copies of disclosure statements, as well as advisory opinions. The Ethics Ordinance, adopted in 1997, may be found in Chapter 2.200 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances.
